By the present petition, the petitioners have challenged the advertisement notice dated 07.01.2022 issued for promotion to the post of Trained Assistant Teacher (LB) to Teacher and Teacher (LB) to Headmaster (Middle School) in the academic circles of Balrampur, Ramanujganj, Jashpur, Korea and Baikunthpur. 2. However, the petitioners, appearing through video conferencing, submitted that all the petitioners except petitioner No. 1 have already been granted promotion and, thus, their grievance stands substantially redressed. The petitioner No. 1 also seeks permission to withdraw the present petition on the ground that he is likely to be promoted in the near future, therefore they do not wish to pursue the present petition any further. 4 3. In view of the submission so made, the parties have amicably settled the dispute between themselves. 4. The Court also recorded that the contesting parties had amicably settled the dispute and, finding the terms of compromise to be just, proper, and legal, accepted the settlement arrived at between them. 5. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. 6. A copy of the docket/compromise arrived at between the parties be made part of this award.
