The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 44 of 2025 arising out of Khunti P.S. Case No. 156 of 2024. It has been alleged that the father of the informant was murdered by the petitioner and another accused person. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on self confession and the fact there was a land dispute which was existing between both the sides. It has been submitted that only the presence of the petitioner has been noted at the place of the occurrence with an axe, but there are no eye witnesses to indicate that the petitioner had also taken part in the assault upon the deceased. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 04.11.2024. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner seems to have been implicated only on the basis of suspicion, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Khunti in connection with S.T.
