The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-payment of compensation on the ground of alleged electrocution. On behalf of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), it is submitted that there is no merit in the case of the petitioner and the entire case of electrocution is false and concocted. In view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, WPA 10308 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the Chief Electrical Inspector, WBSEDCL to consider the application for compensation of the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order and after hearing both parties. 2 It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all issues are left open for the Chief Electrical Inspector to decide in accordance with law.
