The Report filed on behalf of the CESC Limited be kept with the records. A copy of the Report is handed over to the petitioner. It appears from the Report that CESC Limited is ready and willing to issue an offer letter to the petitioner which is to be necessarily complied with for any further steps to be taken is providing any electricity connection to the petitioner. 2. In view of the Report filed by the CESC Limited WPA 5400 of 2026 is disposed of by directing the CESC Limited to provide a separate electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner at the existing service provision subject to compliance with all statutory formalities and payment of necessary fees. 2 3. Liberty is granted to the CESC Limited to avail of police assistance if the circumstances so warrant. It is made clear that the payment for any police assistance would be exclusively borne by the petitioner. 4. Liberty is also granted to the police authority to break open the padlocks on the meter board if the circumstances so warrant. 5.
