1. The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to determine and release the arrears and bonus payable to him along with interest and all consequential benefits, as per relief sought for by him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the petitioner having rendered long years of service and having been regularized vide order dated 04.10.2008, the consequential monetary benefits flowing from delayed regularization and proper pay fixation, including arrears and bonus, have not been extended to him. He further submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 01.04.2026 before the concerned authority, however the same remains pending
consideration without any decision. Learned counsel, therefore, prays that the respondents be directed to decide the said representation expeditiously and release the admissible arrears along with consequential benefits to the petitioner in accordance with law.

At this juncture, learned State counsel submits that it would be better if the petitioner files detailed fresh representation to before the respondent authority along with all relevant documents in support of his claim. He further submits that in case representation is made, the respondent authority shall decide the same within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of the representation.

4. The proposal of the State counsel is acceptable to the counsel for the petitioner.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file fresh representation to the concerned respondent along with all relevant documents in this regard and on such representation being made, the concerned respondent authority shall dispose off the same within a period of 90 days form the date of receipt of the representation.
6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion so far as the entitlement of the petitioner is concerned. The Authorities shall be free to take a decision purely in accordance with the rules governing the field.
