JUSTICE PRAVEER BHATNAGAR Order 09/01/2026 [2026:RJ-JP:960] (2 of 2) [CRLMA-568/2024] 1. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that vide order dated 28.02.2024 and 31.10.2023, the Coordinate bench of this court allowed the anticipatory bail applications of the petitioners and directed them to appear before the Investigating Officer within a period of two weeks, but the petitioners could not appear before the concerned Investigating Officer within the given time frame as directed by the court vide orders dated 31.10.2023 and 28.02.2024, therefore learned counsel prays for modification in the order so also to extend the time for furnishing the bail bonds for further 15 days, from today. 2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the applications and contended that petitioners failed to appear before the concerned Investigating Officer in the prescribed time period, therefore the applications may be dismissed. 3. Considering the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the petitioners and looking to the fact that the petitioners have already been directed to be enlarged on anticipatory bail, this court deems it proper to extend the time period prescribed in the orders dated 31.10.2023 and 28.02.2024. The petitioners are directed to appear before the Investigating Officer to furnish their bail bonds as per the orders, within 15 days from today. 5.
