Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. In light of the fact that the petitioner has completed his tenure within a vicinity of 25 kilometers as he is serving within the said area for the last around 20 years, though the Court is not interfering with the transfer order, but in light of the fact that the wife of the petitioner is suffering from a serious ailment, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner, if so advised, may approach the Authority for his adjustment at some other station. In case any such application/representation is filed by the petitioner within a week from today, appropriate decision thereupon be taken by the Authority within two weeks thereafter. Till then, the petitioner shall not be forced to join the station to which he stands transferred and he can avail the kind of leave due. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:34699 3.
