Counsel for the petitioner submits that the total amount involved on the basis of which the FIR is registered is Rs.8,000/-. 2.1 He submits that the petitioner is willing to settle the matter and pay the aforesaid amount of Rs.8,000/-. 3. In view thereof, counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition after settling the matter with the aggrieved person/victim.
