The Court made the following ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2. This Writ Petition was filed questioning the high-handed action of the respondents in trying to dispossess the petitioner from the agricultural land in Sy.No.1/2, admeasuring Ac.0.74 cents situated at Guruvindapalli Village, Kolluru Mandal, Bapatla District, Andhra Pradesh, without issuing any notice and without following due process of law. 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents, relying upon the written instructions of the 4th respondents dated 18.03.2026, submits that as per the revenue records, particularly the Adangal for Fasli 1388, the total extent of land in Sy.No.1 of Gurivindapalli Revenue Village is Ac.1.45 cents and the same is classified as “Bandidaari”. In the present case, the name of the petitioner is not recorded in any of the revenue records in respect of the subject land. The petitioner claims to have purchased an extent of Ac.0.74 cents of land in Sy.No.1/2 under a registered sale deed. However, mere execution of a sale deed does not confer valid title in respect of the Government land, unless such land has been duly assigned or regularized by the competent authority in accordance with law. No steps have been taken by the revenue authorities to dispossess the petitioner from the subject land. Hence, the apprehension expressed by the petitioner is baseless and not supported by any official action. 4

Any dispossession from the subject land shall not be made, except by following the due process of law. The written instructions of the 4th respondents dated 18.03.2026, shall be made as part of the Court record. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. __________________________ JUSTICE B KRISHNA MOHAN
