The present petition has been filed seeking the following prayers: “In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to: a) Issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction, particularly in the nature of Mandamus, directing Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to consider and act upon the GD entries i.e. 0149A dated 29.05.2026, 0132A dated 06.05.2026, 0175A dated 05.05.2026, 0009A dated 10.05.2026, 0021A dated 0.05.2026, 0008A dated 13.05.2026, 0068A dated 13.05.2026, 0139A dated 13.05.2026, 0155A dated 18.05.2026, 0001A dated 27.04.2026, 0113A dated 05.05.2026, 0117A dated 08.05.2026, 0196A dated 09.05.2026 and 0154A dated 18.05.2026 made and to take appropriate action in accordance with law in respect of the conduct complained of; This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 25/09/2026 at 12:28:33 b) Direct Respondent Nos. 2 to undertake an appropriate investigation into the repeated calls, WhatsApp messages and communications received by the Petitioner from the various mobile numbers being used and connected with Respondent No.3; c) Direct the competent police authority to take all lawful preventive measures necessary for protecting the Petitioner from further harassment, intimidation, repeated unwanted communications and unauthorised visits to his official and residential workplace; d) Direct Respondent Nos. 2 to preserve and examine the relevant electronic/digital evidence, including the screenshots, WhatsApp communications, call details and details of the mobile numbers placed before them by the Petitioner, in accordance with law; e) Pending disposal of the present Petition, direct respondent No.3 not to make any personal visit to the Petitioner’s official and residential. Pass such other and further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case.” 2. Mr Vinay Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner, is an IPS officer presently posted as ACP at PS Dabri, who had earlier dealt with allegations raised by Respondent No. 3 against SI Yashveer while serving as SHO, PS Govindpuri. 2.1. He states that after the Petitioner refused to bypass official procedure or entertain undocumented requests made by Respondent No.3, it led to retaliatory conduct from the said Respondent. 2.2 He states that, thereafter, Respondent No. 3 repeatedly contacted the Petitioner on his personal number, sent unsolicited messages and AI- This is a digitally signed order. He states that despite General Diary entries and representations made to the police authorities, no effective action was taken to protect the Petitioner from Respondent No. 3’s unwelcome advances, leading to the filing of the present petition. 3. Mr. Abhijeet Kumar, Advocate, enters appearance on behalf of the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2. 4. He states that the Petitioner be directed to approach IFSO1 (Dwarka), Delhi Police/Special Cell, and appropriate action will be taken on his complaint. 5. Learned counsel for the Petitioner is agreeable to the said suggestion of the Respondent. 6. The Petitioner is directed to file a formal complaint with the IFSO (Dwarka), Delhi Police/Special Cell within a period of three (3) days and the Respondent No. 2 is directed to take appropriate action on such an application in accordance with law. 7. The IFSO (Dwarka), Delhi Police/Special Cell is expected to take appropriate action in a time-bound manner. 8. It is made clear that the Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the disputes raised herein and the complaint of the Petitioner be decided on its own merits. 9.
