Shockingly, the medical evaluation report has been handed over to the petitioners instead of it being furnished to the Government Advocate or to the Registrar (Judicial). In respect of MTP proceedings, it is but required that secrecy be maintained, and so also the privacy, more so when the present matter involves a minor. This aspect has been brought to the notice of all the Medical Officers and Doctors from time to time by this Court and also by the Hon'ble Apex Court. Handing over of a report to the petitioners, that too without it being sealed, is not acceptable. 2. The Principal Secretary, Medical Education Department, is directed to look into the matter and take up such action as is required against the concerned. Enquiry report to be filed within a period of 4 weeks from today i.e. on or before 13.07.2026. 3. Learned AGA is directed to bring the above order to the notice of the Principal Secretary, Medical Education Department.
