The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kanke PS Case No.306 of 2023, for offence registered under section 379 of IPC, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, at Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that false allegations are made of lifting bikes. He next submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement and in view of that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that it has come in the order of the learned Sessions Judge that the petitioner is member of bike-lifting gang and in view of that anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected. 5. Considering that name of the petitioner has surfaced in course of the investigation and lifting bikes are very rampant in the city and it has come in the order of the learned Sessions Judge that the petitioner is a member of bike-lifting gang, and in the attending facts and circumstances of the instant case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner, and as such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is, hereby, rejected and consequently, this anticipatory bail application being ABA No.3656 of 2026 is, hereby, dismissed.
