4. It appears that the case was instituted with allegation that the informant, who works as Munsi in a fly bricks factory received a telephonic WhatsApp call from mobile no. 8235541202 on his mobile no. 6201982970 at about 9:00 A.M. on 15.07.2023, whereby a demand of Rs. 5 lakhs as ransom within two days in the name of Pradhan Ji of TPC as well as Rs. 20,000/- per month for getting permission for smooth functioning of the factory. In course of investigation, the name of petitioner transpired in the confessional statement, therefore, the petitioner, who was in jail in connection with Ratu P.S. Case No. 303/2023 was remanded in this case. Except the purported confessional statement of petitioner, there is no other incriminating circumstances appearing against the petitioner.
5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, I am inclined to release the above-named petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi, in connection with Ratu P.S.
