In this petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent-authorities to consider the application dated 24.11.2023 (Annexure-B) seeking grant of land, being an ex- serviceman. 3. It is argued by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that, the petitioner is an ex-serviceman, further by referring to Annexure-D and submitted that, the land is available in Attigere Village of Mudigere Taluk, Chikmagaluru District, wherein, to an extent of 34.28 acres of Government land in Survey No. 138 is available for grant. In that view of the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:26095 WP No. 26038 of 2025 matter, sought for grant of the land by considering the application by respondent-authorities. 4. Per contra, learned High Court Government Pleader also referred to the circular dated 24.06.2021 (Annexure-C), and accordingly sought for dismissal of the writ petition. 5. By considering the fact that the petitioner is an ex- serviceman, the respondent nos. 2 and 3 are directed to consider the application dated 24.11.2023 (Annexure-B) in accordance with law in the light of the circular dated 24.06.2021 (Annexure-C) within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observation, writ petition is disposed of. In view of the disposal of the main petition, I.A.No.1/2026 does not survive for consideration and stands disposed of.
