1. Petitioner prays for bail.
2. First Information Report relates to incident allegedly occurring in the year 2020.
3. Allegation is that, the petitioner entered into a physical relationship with the de facto complainant on the promise of marriage.

4. State and the de facto complainant are represented.
5. Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and the fact that the police filed charge sheet, as also the fact that the FIR relates to incidents of 2020, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.
6. Accordingly, I direct that the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, 2nd Court, Jalpaiguri subject to condition that the petitioner shall appear before the trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.
7. In the event petitioner fails to appear before the trial court without any justifiable cause, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel his bail in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.
8. CRM (M) 82 of 2026 is disposed of.
