Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with following reliefs: 2 “RELIEF SOUGHT: 10.1 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondent authorities to consider and decide the representations submitted by the petitioner, particularly representation dated 11.03.2026 (Annexure P/1), in accordance with law within a stipulated time frame; 10.2 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order direction directing the Respondent authorities to grant suitable employment to the petitioner's dependent son namely Shri Yashwant Kumar Khande in lieu of acquisition of the petitioner's land bearing Khasra No. 1007/14, area admeasuring 0.506.30 Hectare, Khata No. 16, acquired by SECL, Kusmunda Project, in accordance with the applicable rehabilitation policy and scheme; 10.3 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order Respondent authorities to direction directing the release and pay lawful compensation along with all consequential rehabilitation benefits arising out of acquisition of the petitioner's aforesaid land in accordance with law and applicable policy; 10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief(s), which is deemed fit and proper in the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition has been filed due to non-grant of employment and compensation to the petitioner's dependent family members despite acquisition of the petitioner's land bearing Khasra No.1007/14 (area admeasuring 3 0.506.30 Hectare), Khata No.16, situated at Kusmunda Area by the respondent/SECL for Kusmunda Project, however, till date neither the compensation nor employment under the Rehabilitation Scheme has been provided to the petitioner's dependent family member, as such, the petitioner has filed the representation Annexure P-1 before the concerned Authority which is pending consideration since 11.03.2026. Hence, petitioner has came-up before this Court with aforesaid prayer/relief. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent/SECL submits that looking to the limited prayer to direct the Authorities concerned to consider and decide the pending representation of petitioner, he is having no objection. 4. Considering facts of the case, nature of relief, limited prayer of counsel for the petitioner which is not opposed by counsel for the respondent -SECL, the instant petition is disposed of directing the concerned respondent-authority to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with relevant rules/law, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
