The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 The Hon’ble Court may issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to decide the application of the petitioner for grant of regular stage carriage permit on the Patthalgaon to Raigarh and one return trip daily and to grant the same in accordance with the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act. 10.2 Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit be granted. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had submitted an application for grant of regular stage carriage permit on the route Patthalgaon to Raigarh with one return trip daily on 25.03.2026, however, till date the application for grant of regular stage carriage permit is not considered and finally decided and therefore, direction be issued to the respondent to consider and take decision on the application for grant of regular stage carriage permit within the specified time period. 3. Learned counsel for the State would submit that in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, he has having no objection. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised and further considering the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that he has submitted an application for grant of regular stage carriage permit on 25.03.2026 for the route as mentioned above, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and take decision on the application submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 02 months from the date of receipt of order. 6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. 3 7. Accordingly, I.A. No.01/2026, which is an application for listing the case during summer vacation and I.A.
