The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Basia PS Case No.29 of 2025, for offence registered under section 20(b)(ii) of NDPS Act, pending in court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the alleged Ganja has been recovered from the possession of the co-accused to the tune of 9.93 kg which is intermediary in quantity. He also submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.12 of the petition. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegations are there against the petitioner of supplying the said Ganja to the apprehended co-accused and on these grounds, anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected. 2026:JHHC:19799 2 5. Considering that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and even the said Ganja is intermediary in quantity and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as aforesaid, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla, in connection with Basia PS Case No.29 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
