The petitioners have approached this Court seeking direction to the respondents to decide the proposal dated 28.08.2023 submitted by the petitioners for grant of approval to the appointment of the petitioner no.3 in the petitioner no.2-Ashram School. The aforesaid proposal is at Record Page No.10, Annexure-A. 3. Shri R.D. Karode, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the aforesaid proposal should have been submitted to the respondent no.1-Regional Deputy Director, Other Backward Classes Welfare (Regional) Department, Amravati, however, inadvertently it came to be submitted to the Office of the respondent no.2-Assistant Director, Yavatmal. 4. In view of above, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners shall submit the aforesaid proposal after complying with the necessary requisites to the Office of the respondent no.1-Regional Deputy Director, Other Backward Classes Welfare (Regional) Department, Amravati within one weeks from today. 2026:BHC-NAG:13862-DB 2 WP8404-26.odt 5. Once the proposal is submitted, the respondent no.1-Regional Deputy Director, Other Backward Classes Welfare (Regional) Department, Amravati is directed to decide the same within the stipulated period of four weeks from the date of submission of such proposal. Needless to mention that the respondent no.1-Regional Deputy Director, Other Backward Classes Welfare (Regional) Department, Amravati shall decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioners within two weeks from such decision. 6. The writ petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms. No costs. (RAJ D. WAKODE, J.)
