The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Barhi PS Case No.380 of 2025, for offence registered under section 18, 22 and 29 of NDPS Act, pending in court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge Cum Special Judge, NDPS Act, Hazaribagh.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement. He next submits that 360 grams of alleged opium has been recovered from one Raju Kumar Singh, which is intermediary in quantity. He also submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.17 of the petition and on these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted.
4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that

name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement.

Considering that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as aforesaid and the alleged recovery is made from one Raju Kumar Singh and the said Opium is intermediary in quantity, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner.

Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge Cum Special Judge, NDPS Act, Hazaribagh, in connection with Barhi PS Case No.380 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
