By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the impugned amended selection list declared by the respondents for the post of Vikaskhand Dataprabandhak (BDM) in the District Janjgir-Champa. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned selection list is liable to be set aside as it is not in accordance with law as in the original selection list, petitioner was selected amongst the eligible candidates, however, without any objection raised by any of the candidates or any authorized person, the impugned amended list was declared in which petitioner was not selected amongst the eligible candidates. 3. Learned counsel for respondents No. 2 and 3 would support the impugned order and submit that by the impugned selection list, appointment was made for a period upto 31/03/2020 which had already passed, as 3 such, no cause of action survives in this writ petition and it is liable to be dismissed. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, considered their rival submissions made herein-above and went through the records with utmost circumspection. 5. A careful perusal of the advertisement (Annexure P/3) would show that by the impugned selection list (Annexure P/1), appointment was made on contractual basis for a period upto 31/03/2020 which has already expired and thereafter, appointment has already been made and it has not been questioned by the petitioner by challenging the order of appointment. As such, I do not find any good ground to entertain this writ petition. 6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed leaving the parties to bear their own cost(s). Sd/- (Sanjay K.
