That the respondents be directed to immediately commence and complete the construction work of Patwar Khana Bhawan at Gram Panchayat Chailly on the land comprised in Khata No.177 Min., Khatauni No.286, Khasra No.440, measuring 00-00-76 hectares which land is recorded in the name of Government of Himachal Pradesh within time bound period. (ii). Direct the respondents to place and submit utilization/completion certificate qua the funds so allotted for the construction of the said Patwar Khana Bhawan.” 2. Respondent-State has placed on record detailed instructions dated 19.03.2026, appending therewith certain documents, inter alia, pleading that “the construction work 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 could not be commenced due to the pendency of Civil Suit No.1535/2022 titled as Rajinder V/s State of HP & others before the Ld. Civil Court Shimla, involving the land in question. The Hon’ble Civil Court vide its order dated 16.08.2023 has passed an order directed maintaining of status quo, thereby restraining the parties from alternating the nature of the land. The copy of order passed by the Ld. Civil Court is enclosed as Annexure-B. The matter is presently stayed and is fixed for hearing on 27-03-2026. The copy of the cause list of the Sr. Civil Judge Court No.1 Shimla (enclosed as Annexure-C).” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the instructions placed on record by the respondents, the petitioners be permitted to withdraw this writ petition as they intend to avail the remedy as may be available to them at this stage for the redressal of their grievances before the appropriate Forum in accordance with law.
