These two writ-petitions are taken up together as the petitioners in both writ-petitions have applied for mutual transfer in respect of their respective Schools. 2. Affidavits of service, as filed in both the writ-petitions, be kept with the record. 3. In spite of service, the School Authorities are not represented. 4. The petitioners in both the writ-petitions are Assistant Teacher in English at their respective Schools i.e. Tatkapur Shyama Vidyabhaban (HS), Purba Medinipur and Baguran Jalpai Junior High School, Purba Medinipur and have applied for mutual transfer. 5. Such applications for mutual transfer are pending since 2025. 6. The Commissioner, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal (respondent no. 4 in both the writ-petitions), is directed to dispose of such applications by 15.05.2026. 7. With these observations, both the writ-petitions being WPA 1327 of 2026 and WPA 1335 of 2026 are disposed of. No order as to costs. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.) P a g e | 2
