The Appellant, upon dismissal of its application seeking permission to amend the Statement of Claim (SOC) before the Arbitrator, filed a Petition under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, challenging the Interim Order dated 07.05.2024. However, the said Petition also came to be dismissed by way of the Impugned Order dated 23.04.2025. 2. During the course of arguments, learned counsel representing the parties arrived at a consensus that the SOC shall be allowed to be amended only with respect to prayer for grant of declaration to the effect that the partnership firm stood dissolved on serving of notice. 3.
