In terms of the order dated 20th March, 2026 Mr. Vimal Kumar Shahi, learned Additional Government Pleader appears on virtual mode and it is submitted that three criminal prosecutions are pending against the petitioner apart from one criminal prosecution pending against the petitioner under the jurisdiction of Kolkata Police. 2. Disclosing the particulars of aforesaid three criminal prosecutions a memo dated 24th March, 2026 was issued by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Legal West Bengal and same is taken on record. Copy of said memo dated 24th March, 2026 is made over to 2 Mr. Billwadal Bhattacharyya, learned senior advocate representing the petitioner. 3. In view of disclosure of three criminal prosecutions pending against the petitioner within the jurisdiction excluding the jurisdiction of Kolkata Police no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 4. Writ petition stands disposed of. 5. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.)
