FIR has been registered on the basis of statement of the complainant Daljit Singh, in which, it has been alleged that he is doing the work of selling air tickets. It has been further alleged that one car bearing registration no.PB-11-BF-5477 make Fiat, Model 2010 was in the name of the complainant. It has been further alleged that the complainant had engaged his brother Paramjit Singh as driver of the aforesaid car. income regarding the same was kept by the petitioner. It has been further alleged that the complainant had taken his car back from the petitioner in the year 2024 due to some differences and since then, the complainant was using his aforesaid car. It has been further alleged that the complainant had parked his aforesaid car in a garage lying near Chehal Flour Mill, Ward no.5, Ahmedgarh. It has been further alleged that thereafter, the petitioner had demanded his aforesaid car many times from the complainant, however, the complainant had refused to hand over the car to the petitioner. It has been further alleged that the complainant had agreed to sell his aforesaid garage to one Parshotam Kumar, resident of Ahmedgarh in August, 2025 and had handed over the possession of the aforesaid garage to the aforesaid Parshotam Kumar. It has been further alleged that after selling the aforesaid garage, the car of the complainant had remained parked in the aforesaid garage for some days. It has been further alleged that the complainant came to know that his aforesaid car has been stolen on dated 20.08.2025.
It.has been further alleged that later on, the complainant had come to know that his aforesaid car was stolen by his brother Paramjit Singh, the petitioner and he had kept concealed the car in an unknown place.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Amandeep Kaur submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 18.04.2026, and as of now, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required for the purpose of investigation.

Since, petitioner has already joined the investigation and custodial interrogation is no more required; ad-interim bail order dated 10.04.2026 passed by this Court is hereby made absolute. Accordingly, present petition is allowed.

when required to do so and abide by all the terms and conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.

However, present order would be subject to the submission of his passport to the Investigating Agency or to Court concerned, if he possesses, within a period of one week from today. Otherwise, he would submit an affidavit, disclosing the fact that he does not possess any passport.

It is clarified that in case, aforesaid condition is not complied with, this order would be considered as non est automatically. May 12, 2026
