By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following primary reliefs:- “i. That the respondent Corporation may kindly be directed to release the balance amount of gratuity i.e. Rs. 1,61,149/- along with interest @12% per annum by issuing a writ of mandamus. ii. That the respondent may kindly be directed to pay the arrear of revised pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.2016 till 31.03.2021 along with interest @12% per annum alongwith arrears of increments granted in favour of the petitioner after the completion of 20 years continuous service alongwith interest by issuing a writ of mandamus.” 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent- Corporation informs the Court that pre-revised arrears stand paid to the petitioner. She further submitted that the issue of payment of revised pay scale arrears is pending adjudication before the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledged the factum of pre-revised arrears having been paid to the petitioner. 3. In light of the above said fact, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the issue of arrears on account of revised pay scale shall be governed by the judgment of the Hon’ble Division Bench in CWP No.2108 of 2023, titled as Bhagat Ram versus Himachal Road Transport Corporation and others. 4.
