---------- 06/ 02.07.2026 By way of present writ application the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondent No. 3 to dispose of the departmental appeal filed by the petitioner on 27.12.2024.
2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the order of punishment, a departmental appeal has already been preferred before the respondent No. 3, however, the same has not yet been disposed. Accordingly, at this stage interest of justice would be sufficed by directing the respondent No. 3, who is the appellate authority, to dispose of the pending appeal as expeditiously as possible.
3. There is no objection from the respondents.
4. Accordingly, the instant application stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to approach the respondent No. 3 by giving a copy of the writ application which also contains the departmental appeal as Annexure-3, as early as possible. The moment respondent No. 3 will receive this writ application containing the departmental appeal, he shall pass an appropriate order in appeal

5. It goes without saying that this Court has not gone into the merits of this case.
6. As a result, the instant application stands allowed.
7. Pending I.A. No. 11465 of 2025 stands closed.
