In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs: “(A) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, commanding the Respondents to forthwith mutate the land appertaining to Khata No. 66, Plot Nos. 947 and 948, total area 22 decimal, situated in Mouza Gapai, Thana No. 498, Circle & District Giridih in favour of the Petitioner, and consequently, to create jamabandi, enter the name of the Petitioner in Register-II for rent fixation, and issue rent receipts for the land in question, in accordance with law. (B) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the Respondent authorities to consider and dispose of the pending representation of the Petitioner.” 2026:JHHC:19576 2 3. It is the claim of the petitioner that the land in question appertaining to Khata No. 66, Plot No. 947 and 948, area 22 decimal situated in Mouza Gapai, Thana No. 498, Circle and District Giridih has been purchased by the father of the petitioner. 4. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the records are not being updated and Jamabandi has not been created in the name of the petitioner. 5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner admits that there are other co-sharer. From the records specially Annexure-1 series also, I find that there are other co-sharers also. 6. Considering his submission, no mandamus can be passed at this stage. The petitioner is directed to approach the Circle Officer, Giridih. 7. The Circle Officer, Giridih should take appropriate steps on the representation of the petitioner considering whether there are other claimants or not and will pass an appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner and will communicate the decision to the petitioner preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 8.
