CMP No. 20449 of 2026 The instant application under Section 151 of CPC has been filed on behalf of applicant/respondent No.1(a), namely, Mast Ram, for release of the share of deceased respondent No.1(b)-Devaki Devi. 2. As per the applicant/respondent No.1(a), vide order dated 05.08.2021, passed by this Court in CMP No.14656 of 2020, the awarded amount of compensation was ordered to be released in favour of respondents No.1(a) & 1(b) as per their entitlement and in equal shares, by remitting the same to their bank accounts. However, during the interregnum, respondent No.1(b)-Devaki Devi had expired. Hence, it is prayed that the amount of compensation, falling in the share of deceased respondent No.1(b), may be released in favour of applicant/respondent No.1(a), being the sole surviving legal heir of deceased respondent No.1(b). The application is duly supported with an affidavit of the applicant as well as copies of death certificate, legal heirs certificate and pass-book, Annexures A-1 to A-3 3. No reply is intended to be filed. Learned Additional Advocate General has submitted that he has no objection in case the prayer made in the application is allowed. 4. Heard. Having perused the averments made in the application, which is duly supported with the affidavit of the applicant/respondent No.1(a), this Court finds it in the interest of justice to release the entire amount of compensation, alongwith up-to-date interest, falling in the share of deceased respondent No.1(b)-Devati Devi, in favour of the applicant/respondent No.1 (b)-Mast Ram, lying deposited in the Registry of this Court, after proper verification and identification by remitting the same to his bank account, details whereof have been given in para-8 of the application. 5. The application stands disposed of. CMP No.20450 of 2026 6. At this stage, the applicant/respondent No.1(a) is exempted from filing translated copy of the Annexure A-2.
