After filing of this Petition, the learned Advocate for the Mapusa Municipal Council has placed on record a show cause notice cum stop work order dated 14.07.2026. 2. The learned Advocate for Respondent No. 3, on instructions, submits that the work pursuant to the order dated 14.07.2026 has been stopped at site. The counsel for the respective parties also submits that, pursuant to the show cause notice and reply being filed by Respondent No. 3, the Chief Officer of Mapusa Municipal Council has listed the matter for filing of the rejoinder of the 13th October, 2026 2026:BHC-GOA:2078-DB 1 WP 784 2026 Petitioner and will thereafter hear the parties and dispose of the complaint. 3. Considering that the Chief Officer is now seized of the matter, we direct the Chief Officer to dispose of the complaint by 30.11.2026. 4. In the meantime, since the stop-work order has been revoked, the Respondent No. 3, as stated by the learned Advocate, will not proceed with the structure till the disposal of the complaint. 5.
