Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader submit that this Court may grant some time to the Respondent-Government to hear the Petitioners on the proposals made by the Petitioners for grant-in-aid and dispose of the writ petitions in line with the directions given in the batch of Writ Petition No.1932 of 2026 along with companion writ petitions where similar orders in respect of the very same Government Resolutions dated 1st April 2026 and 2nd April 2026 were passed by this Circuit Bench and which have also been followed by the Principal Bench in the case of Shri Bhairavnath Lokseva Pratishthan Chinchani v. State of Maharashtra in Writ Petition No. 5476 of 2026 and connected writ petitions. 2. Accordingly, let the proposals made by the Petitioners for grant-in- aid be decided by the Respondent-State within a period of four weeks from today in accordance with law. 3. Needless to mention that the Petitioner – schools would continue their respective schools and no action as contemplated under Government Resolution dated 1st April 2026 and 2nd April 2026 shall be initiated against them. 4.
