JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER It is the contention of the petitioner that the Committee for regularization of unauthorised occupation considered the application filed by the petitioner and recommended grant of 1 acre 35 guntas in Sy.No.391 of Nadooru Village, Gowdagere Hobli, Sira Taluk, pursuant to which the Tahsildar, Sira Taluk passed an order in LND.R.U.C(G)C.R.162/2000-01. Thereafter, Saguvali Chit was also issued in favour of the petitioner on 31.07.2004. However the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the revenue records. Therefore the prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 - Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. 2. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Sira Taluk, to verify the records and find out whether land was granted - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10914 WP No. 37282 of 2025 in favour of the petitioner, kimmath was paid and whether Saguvali chit was issued in favour of the petitioner on 31.07.2004. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to mutate and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, after collecting the necessary fee. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
