The present application under Section 151 of the CPC seeks early hearing of the captioned petition. 2. In view of the averments made in the application, the same is allowed and disposed of. 3. The matter is taken up for hearing today itself. W.P.(C) 13180/2026 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the policy which deals with the transfer, so as to urge that the petitioner was transferred before he could complete 4 years of prescribed tenure. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 21/09/2026 at 11:21:35 the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the latter is due to superannuate in the year 2028, and in such an eventuality, he has every right to exercise his option for posting. 5. As against above, learned counsel for the respondents states that the petitioner has already completed the tenure of 3 years, and as regards the option to be exercised in the matter of last posting to be given to him before his superannuation, the same shall be looked into and decided within a period of two weeks from today. 6. In the aforesaid background, we are of the view that no interference is called for on merits of the case; however, we make it clear that the present petition of the petitioner be treated as a representation by the respondents, on the issue that whether he can exercise his option qua his last posting, as he is due to superannuate in the year 2028. Let the same be considered and decided within a period of two weeks from today. 7. The petition accordingly stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 8. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. 9. The next date of hearing fixed in the matter, i.e., 21st September, 2026, stands cancelled. 10.
