JUSTICE MOHAMMAD NAWAZ) The prayer in this appeal is to grant interim bail to the appellant for a period of five days to attend the marriage ceremony of his brother-in-law scheduled from 08.06.2026 to 12.06.2026. 2. The appellant is aggrieved by the order passed by the Special Court, wherein, his petition was rejected and he was - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:26956-DB CRL.A No. 913 of 2026 permitted to attend the marriage ceremony of his brother-in-law on 11.06.2026 from 11.00 a.m. to 07.30 p.m. with proper escort at his own cost, excluding journey period etc. 3. Having perused the material placed on record, we are convinced that the marriage ceremony of the appellant's brother-in-law is scheduled on 11.06.2026 and other ceremonies in relation to the marriage are scheduled between 08.06.2026 to 12.06.2026. 4. Considering the occasion, we deem it fit to modify the order passed by the Special Court and permit the appellant to participate in the marriage function from 08.06.2016 to 12.06.2016, on the following conditions:- 1. The appellant shall be released on bail on executing a bond in a sum of ₹1,00,000/- with one surety for the likesum to the satisfaction of the trial Court. 2. He shall furnish the contact number of his near relative and shall be available to the NIA officers whenever they want to contact him. 4. He shall surrender before the jurisdictional Special Judge on or before 11.30 a.m. on 15.06.2026. Appeal is allowed in the above terms. The order dated 03.06.2026 passed by learned XLIX Addl. City Civil and Sessions Judge (Special Judge for trial of NIA cases) (CCH-50), Bengaluru, in Spl.C.No.181/2017 is accordingly modified. I.A.No.1/2026 is disposed of.
