Hon’ble Shri Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey Judgment On Board NIRMALA RAO 2 08.05.2026 1) By way of this petition, the petitioner has sought following reliefs:- “a. This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or suitable direction to the respondent authorities for considering the name of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Matron [T&S] Grade- A/1 from the date of when the Juniors have been grated the promotion i.e. Promotion order, dt. 27/02/2021. b. This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to allow the all consequential benefits etc. c. This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow any other relief as the Hon'ble Court may be deemed fit and proper. d. Cost of petition may kindly be allowed.” 2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the petitioner was dismissed from service vide order dated 23.4.2024 and thus, the present petition has rendered infructuous. 3) In the present petition, the petitioner has claimed promotion and at present, he is no longer in service. Therefore, the relief claimed by the petitioner cannot be granted. 4) Accordingly, this petition is dismissed, however, the petitioner would be at liberty to assail the subsequent orders.
