The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-consideration of a prayer for compensation on the death of the petitioner’s husband. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that her husband has expired due to electrocution and hence her claim for compensation. 2. On behalf of the respondent WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they have no objection if the consideration of the petitioner’s representation dated 23rd December, 2025 be sent to the Chief 2 Electrical Inspector being the respondent no. 3 for consideration. 3. In view of the submission made on behalf of the parties, WPA/3035/2026 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 to consider the claim for compensation dated 23 December, 2025 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 4. It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all questions are left open to be decided in accordance with law. 5. Since no Affidavit-in-Opposition has been filed the allegations contained in the writ petition are not admitted. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
