Petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following relief :- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, directing the respondents to grant arrears towards revised pay scale for the period from year 2016 to 2021, with interest @ 12% per annum from the date of entitlement to its actual payment, forthwith. 10.2 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of the costs of the petition may be given.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are holding the post of work charged contingency paid Class-IV 3 employee. Pursuant to the order of Collector, it was ordered that they are entitled for regular pay scale. Though the regular pay scale is being paid to petitioners, however, arrears of the pay has not been disbursed till date. Petitioners have submitted representation for release of arrears of salary and therefore direction be issued to the authorities to take decision on the representation at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned State counsel submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioners, he is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the respective parties and the nature of grievance raised in the present petition, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to submit a fresh representation before the concerned respondent authority within a period of 15 days. Upon submission of such representation, the concerned authority is directed to consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of four months from the date of submission/production of the representation. 5.
