Laskar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S. Dutta, learned counsel for the sole respondent. The present contempt petition is filed alleging willful and deliberate Page No.# 2/2 violation of order dated 09.01.2023 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 6922/2022. By the aforesaid order, the case of the petitioner was directed to be placed before the competent committee for consideration on compesionate appointment. Pursuant to that, an order dated 27.08.2025 has been passed negating the claim of the petitioner. Thus, in view of the aforesaid, in the opinion of this Court, the order dated 09.01.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 6922/2022, stands complied with. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed. It is needless to say that the petitioner shall be at liberty to take due legal course permissible under law to assail such order dated 27.08.2025.
