The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; A. Declare that the freezing of the petitioner's account bank Account Numbers bearing 50200078683789, maintained with the 3RD respondent HDFC Bank and account number bearing 701000035995 maintained with the 4TH respondent Shinhan Bank by the 2 ^ (nd) respondent without following the procedures contained under Section 107 of BNSS, 2023 is arbitrary and is in violation of the fundamental rights guaranteed under Article 19 (1) (g) and the constitutional rights guaranteed under Article 300A of the Constitution of India, in the interest of justice and equity. B. Issue a Writ of Mandamus or order or direction or any other appropriate writ to the 2 ^ (nd) Respondent to defreeze the Petitioner's bank - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:25704 WP No. 15238 of 2026 Account Numbers bearing 50200078683789, maintained with the 3RD respondent HDFC Bank and account number bearing 701000035995 maintained with the 4TH respondent Shinhan Bank in the interest of justice and equity. A memo dated 02.06.2026 signed by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, has been filed, which reads as under: “MEMO FOR WITHDRAWAL FILED ON BEHALF OF PETITIONER It is most respectfully submitted that the respondent police has defreezed the account. Therefore, the petition/prayer has become infructuous. Wherefore it is most respectfully prayed to permit the petitioner to withdraw the petition in the interest of justice and equity.” 3. Accepting the said memo and submission of learned counsel for the Petitioner, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 4.
