This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29(A)(4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (‘1996 Act’) seeking extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator by two months. 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the learned Sole Arbitrator has reserved the award and the mandate be extended by two months so that the award can be passed since the mandate has expired on 01.09.2026. 5.
