Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner was arrested in connection with the instant case on the accusations of having committed offences under the POCSO Act. The family of the petitioner and that of the accused were known to each other as such a relationship developed, consequent to which the incident followed. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention to the Court to the statement under Section 183 of BNSS as well as the medical report. I find from the medical report that the victim was carrying for 24 weeks at the relevant point of time. Having regard to the statement of the victim and the consequent findings of the Doctor, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 2126 of 2025 is dismissed.
