CORAM :
SRI ANANDA SEN, J.
------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Gaurav Kaushalesh, Advocate For the Respondents :
------ 02/ 03.07.2026:
By filing this writ petition, the petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondents to issue rent receipts in favour of the petitioner after due correction in Register-II in connection with land bearing Mouza Nachna, Thana Balumath, Old Khata No.37, Old Plot Nos.331 and 333, New Khata No.34, New Plot Nos.551 and 552 measuring an Area 1.10 acres situated at Mouza Nachna, P.S. Bariyatu, District Latehar in lieu of the order dated 23.06.2015 passed in Revenue Case No.1930 of 1990 as earlier plot in question has wrongly been registered in the name of State of Bihar.
2. It is grievance of the petitioner that the respondents are neither accepting the rent nor issuing the rent receipts. It is the claim of the petitioner that they are raiyats of the land in question.
3. Considering the grievance of the petitioner, I direct the petitioner to approach the respondent No.5-Circle Officer, Balumath, Latehar, who will consider the representation of the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If it is found that the petitioner is the raiyat, the State is legally entitled to recover the rent from him, then an appropriate order would be passed directing the petitioner to deposit the rent, thereafter, the rent receipt would be issued. For any reasons, if it is found that the rent cannot be accepted from the petitioner, the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner.
4. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
