This Writ Petition was filed seeking the following relief:
“…to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of respondent Nos.3 to 7 trying to dispossess the petitioner from the petitioner’s land for an extent of Ac.0.79 cents out of Ac.9.00 cents in Sy.No.215 of Boddam village, Rajam Mandal, Srikakulam District with the collusion of 8th respondent and beneficiaries of Navaratnalu Scheme, is highly illegal, arbitrary and violation of the Articles, 14, 21 and 300A of the Constitution of India and also violation of the principles of natural justice and consequently, direct the respondent Nos.3 to 7 not to interfere into the petitioner’s property for an extent of Ac.0.79 cents out of Ac.9.00 cents in Sy.No.215 of Boddam village, Rajam Mandal, Srikakulam District and pass such other order …”
2. It is the case of the Writ Petitioner that the Writ Petitioner had land for an extent of Ac.0.79 cents out of Ac.9.00 cents in Sy.No.215 at Boddam village, Rajam Mandal, Srikakulam District, which is a Gramakantam land, with continuous possession and enjoyment of the same since the time of petitioner’s forefathers, without interruption of any third-parties as well as revenue authorities, by growing Mango trees and Cashew top. The Government of Andhra Pradesh issued G.O.Ms.No.187, dated 27.05.2015 to delete the Gramakantam lands from Section 22A of the Registration Act, 1908 and permitted the Registration of Gramkantam lands without ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the revenue authorities. The respondents’ authorities are trying to dispossess the petitioner family members along with petitioner vendee viz., P.Rambabu, for the purpose of

4 allotting the land to the beneficiaries under the Navaratnalu Scheme, illegally. While the things stood thus, the respondent Nos.4 to 7 called the Writ Petitioner family members on 17.03.2022 and 18.03.2022 and threatened with dire consequences to vacate the subject land, without any authority of law, in collusion with 8th respondent. Hence, the Writ Petition. 3.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submits that the Writ Petitioner never approached the respondents-Police and that no interference whatsoever by the Police Department had taken place and as the dispute if any, is purely civil in nature, the respondents-police has no role in the alleged matter. 4. The said submission is placed on record. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs of the Writ Petition. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. ___ __________
