Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Palkot P.S. Case No. 65/2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 551 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 309(4)/317(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and under Section 25(1-B)a/26 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner committed robbery and looted a bag containing Rs.15,000/- from the informant and thereafter repeated the same with Kanhaiya Keshari of Simdega by snatching cash of Rs.5,000/- and from Rajesh Lakra Rs.3,500/- on the point of pistol. It is next submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is then submitted that the petitioner has not been put to T.I. parade as mentioned in para- 17 of the bail application. It is next submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 15.09.2025 as mentioned in para-01 of the bail application and no witness has been examined though charge has been framed. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail.
Learned Addl.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is
directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-
(Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Palkot P.S. Case No. 65/2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 551 of 2025 with the condition that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case.
