1. By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:
“i. Issuance of a writ in the nature of prohibition thereby restraining the Respondent No. 1 from commencing any action for demolition based on Show Cause Notice dated 23.06.2026 bearing File No. 55/UC/B-I/KPZ/2026 issued under Sections 343 and 344(1) of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 (‘the Show Cause Notice’ and ‘the DMC Act’ respectively), in respect of Property No. 2, Singhal Pur Village, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088 (‘the Subject Property’) till the adjudication of application for regularisation of the existing construction on the subject property;”

2. At the outset, handing over the “Refusal of regularization” of the same property, which is taken on record, learned counsel for respondent nos.1 to 4 submits that as apparent therefrom the application seeking regularization of the same property dated 08.07.2026 has already been rejected.
3. A copy thereof has also been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner, who, upon going through the same seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
4. The present petition, alongwith pending application is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
