In this writ petition the petitioners have challenged letter dated 08.12.2020 (Annexure-P/01) on the ground that the same is unsustainable, arbitrary and bad in law. 3. However, a careful perusal of letter dated 08.12.2020 (Annexure- P/01) would show that the respondents is order to fill up the vacant post of Agriculture Development Officer from the feeder cadre of Rural Agriculture Extension Officer (both graduate as well as non graduate) had sought annual confidential report of such Rural Agriculture Extension Officer alongwith the record pertaining to their immovable assets for last 5 years as well as any criminal proceedings pending before the court of law. The purpose and intent of letter dated 08.12.2020 is clearly to act further in filing up the post of Agricultural Development Officer and, by no stretch of imagination, it could be said 3 that the aforesaid process of promotion to the post of Agricultural Development Officer is contrary to the Chhattisgarh Subordinate Agricultural class III (Non Ministerial) Service Recruitment Rules, 2010 or the same is unsustainable, arbitrary and bad in law. 4. In that view of the matter, I do not find any good ground to entertain this petition. It is accordingly dismissed. No cost.
