1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel representing State-respondents and perused the record on board.
2. Instant writ petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking the following reliefs:
"I. a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the case of applicant for compassionate appointment in accordance with Scheme for compassionate appointment under Central Government. II. writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondents to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the representation of petitioner dated 13.12.2024 within a fixed time period."
3. It has been submitted that the father of the present petitioner died in harness on 10.09.2000 while he was working on the post of Assistant Clerk.
4. A perusal of the record reveals that initially the mother of the present petitioner, namely, Smt. Sukh Devi had filed an application for the compassion appointment; however, the same was rejected by the authority concerned in the year 2011. Subsequent thereto, the present petitioner pursued her claim for compassionate appointment in place of her deceased father, which was also came to be rejected by order dated 19.07.2021. Instant writ petition has been filed at a belated stage without assailing aforesaid rejection order dated 19.07.2021. Much water has flown under the bridge since 10.09.2000; the date of death of the present petitioner's father.
