1. By way of this Writ Petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- a) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the impugned order dated 17.04.2026 Annexure P/1) passed by the learned Sub Divisional Officer cum competent officer, District Gariband (C.G.), and/or b) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the impugned no-confidence proceedings/notice/resolution pertaining to Gram Panchayat Raksa, Janpad Panchayat Fingeshwar, AVINASH SHARMA Digitally signed by AVINASH SHARMA Date: 2026.05.11 14:47:24 +0530
2 District Gariaband (C.G.) and/or c) Declaration be kindly made that the passed no-confidence motion being illegal the petitioner will be treated and presumed as continuously holding the said post of Sarpunch in continuity from the date of his being posted as such, and/or d) Any other relief as deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court.
2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is already an efficacious remedy of appeal available to the petitioner, as such, he may be permitted to withdraw this petition in order to approach the appellate Court.
3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of and the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appellate Court as prescribed under the law. Sd/-
