Today, the matter is listed as defective. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition. 5. From perusal of the record of writ petition, it transpires that the writ petition was filed on 19.09.2025 and a defect was reported in the writ petition by Registry on five occasions on different dates i.e. 22.09.2025, 10.11.2025, 12.12.2025, 13.02.2026 and when the defect was not removed despite sufficient opportunity, the matter was directed to be placed before this Court as defective on 27.03.2026. 6. Petitioner and her counsel have filed the petition in defective and wasted the valuable time of this court as well as office of the High Court unnecessarily. 7. In this background, permission sought 2026:UHC:2298 for is granted, subject to payment of ₹10,000/-. 8. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, subject to payment of a cost of ₹10,000/- to be recovered from the petitioner within a period of one month from today by way of arrears of land revenue to be deposited in the High Court Bar Association Advocates Welfare Fund, Nainital.
